Today I finished restoring a very old Imperia machine. It is in very good condition for its age and doesn't have excessive wear on the cams and cylinder grooves. The needles of course all needed replacing.
I have knitted a sock using the 72 cylinder and found compaired to my lovely Cymbal machine that the Imperia knits a little tighter. I will add a picture of the machine when I have it set up again. In the meantime here is todays sock.
